At around 3:30pm on Sunday 14 June, Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was tasked to launch to Stack Point near Swanpool, to assist Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team and Ambulance Paramedics with the evacuation of a casualty.
Launching at 3:38pm, the volunteer crew made their way across Falmouth Bay to Pennance Point. Soon after arriving it was confirmed that the casualty had been recovered from the water and was in the care of the services on land.
At 3:50pm the Inshore Lifeboat was then released to return to the station, refuelled and made ready for service.
