Some of the team of volunteer boat guides

We are once again able to welcome visitors to Falmouth Lifeboat Station and from Tuesday 12 April the station will be open for members of the public to view our Severn class all-weather lifeboat 17-29 Richard Cox Scott and our Atlantic 85 inshore lifeboat B-916 Robina Nixon Chard (subject to operational needs). The station is one of a number of stations around the coast designated as an ‘Explore Station’.

From April until the end of October, our team of volunteers provide free guided tours of the lifeboats Tuesday to Friday from 11am until 3pm. There is no need to book, just go into the lifeboat shop attached to the station.
