We have made the decision as a station to sadly suspend visits until further notice.

Falmouth Lifeboat Station will be closed for visitors and tours in order to protect the operational integrity of the crew whilst the COVID-19 virus is prevalent.

Communication with the station will still be available through the website and our social channels, and we hope many who wish to come to see us will be able to do so in the not-too-distant future.

We welcome visitors to Falmouth Lifeboat Station . The station is one of a number of stations around the coast designated as an ‘Explore Station’. This means that the station is open to visitors for most of the year, subject always to operational requirements. The station is open for visits at the following times:

2020 Season:

2 March – 31 October:

Monday – Friday 11am – 3.45pm (last tour 3.15pm)

Saturdays 11am – 12.45pm (last tour 12.15pm)

A team of volunteers provide free guided tours of the lifeboats. There is no need to book, just go into the lifeboat shop attached to the station.

Group visits

In addition to the above, group visits can be arranged for schools, youth organisations, clubs and work groups in advance throughout the year.
