The Falmouth Coastguard Rescue Team was also tasked to assist.

The All-Weather Lifeboat left its pontoon berth at 18:48 and arrived off Kiln Quay at 18:56. A search of the coastline to Penarrow Point was commenced but at 19:03 it was confirmed that the dogs and their owner had been located safe and well, so the lifeboat was released to continue with its exercise.
