Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat launched at 08:48 to assist a person on a yacht in the anchorage off Custom House Quay in Falmouth Inner Harbour. The person had been feeling unwell all night and there were concerns for his well being.
The Inshore Lifeboat arrived on scene at 08:56 and placed two crewmembers trained in Casualty Care on board the yacht to assess the casualties condition. Following an assessment it was decided to transfer the casualty ashore at the Grove Place Dinghy Park at 09:08 where his family were waiting to take him to hospital.
The Inshore Lifeboat was back on its slipway by 09:17 where it was refuelled and made ready for service by 09:30.
