Inshore lifeboat (Tasked 13:30 / Released 13:45) – Diane Bush (Helmsman), Jonathan Jeeves, Jamie Wakefield
Falmouth Inshore Lifeboat was heading out of the Inner Harbour on its way to attend the Port Navas Regatta when at 13:30 they became aware of a 5.5m Speed Boat with two persons on board which appeared to have broken down off Falmouth Docks.
The Inshore Lifeboat went alongside the vessel whose occupants confirmed that they were unable to start their engine so a tow line was passed to them and they were towed to the Falmouth Haven where they were safely moored at 13:40.
The Inshore Lifeboat was released at 13:45 to continue its journey to Port Navas, the owner of the speed boat being very grateful for the help they had received.
